We won’t try to fool you with fancy chemicals or abracadabra additives Instead, we make our food by hand throughout the day in our shop kitchens, using everyday ingredients that you’d find in your pantry at home. If we run out, we run out. There’ll be more tomorrow.

Had visited twice in the recent past and the beverages, soups are extremely comforting and delicious. Yet to try something from their food menu but their belgian hot chocolate is simply the best I've had in Mumbai so far. Not runny, not starchy.... It has quality chocolate melted in milk. Loved it so much that we ended up ordering it twice.! There is ample seating in the cafe but as the entrance is widely open, it could be a bit warm when there are too many people. Once we are seated inside the cafe, air conditioning was good enough. Food/desserts need to be picked and brought to the counter and the beverages can be ordered while at the counter. Once billed, food will then be heated and served in a regular restaurant style fashion with appropriate serving bowls and cutlery. We've opted for a baguette to be served alongside soup which was surprisingly served hard and cold. If it was heated or sliced in the least, could help having it in the meal. But such a hard, cold baguette as an add-on was not of any use. The service also seemed to lack warmth overall. During a weekday afternoon, the staff were so warm and welcoming that they offered to bring my meal to the table after heating. They served my beverage alongside the meal at the table. On the other hand, over a weekend, the staff were slightly dejected and kept shouting people's orders from the counter to be collected all the time. Clearly beverages were a self service but it takes away the quiet ambience when the billing/serving counter keeps shouting the names of beverages. The self service could either be made more sophisticated with a buzzer at hand/order ID displayed at the billing counter (OR) staff serving the beverages at the table just as almost every other cafe outlet does. A simple smile while collecting the orders or serving them will also help add more warmth to the place. Overall, the food quality and ambience make it a good visit while at the Phoenix mall but smoother service & welcoming staff could add much more value to the price paid and overall dining experience.
